A Movement, Not a Platform

Nonterritorial is a non-profit entity, but "non-profit" describes tax status, not ambition. What's being built is closer to a movement — a collective refusal of the premises that have governed art circulation for a century.

The premise that art must be scarce to be valuable. The premise that circulation requires ownership transfer. The premise that geography determines access. The premise that the market is the only mechanism for cultural distribution.

Each premise, refused. Each refusal, built into infrastructure. Not as protest, but as alternative. Not as critique, but as construction. The movement does not ask the existing system to change. It builds a parallel system and invites participation.

The value shift happens through use, through experience, through the accumulated evidence that other model works.
